Update On Charlie Haas After He Missed Shows & Was Uncontactable

Former WWE star Charlie Haas was meant to be wrestling for All-Star Wrestling Australia this past weekend, with the independent promotion promoting him heavily in both matches and meet and greets. Nevertheless, not only did he not get on his flight, leaving members of the promotion waiting hours for him at the airport, but he was also uncontactable, with nobody able to track him down. Subsequently, the promotions would issue a statement updating fans and saying refunds would be issued next week. Now though, they have shared a slightly more positive update, confirming they’ve found out Haas is safe, although he has been dealing with a family matter.

Yesterday a promoter from Texas that works with Charlie regularly reached out to us informing us that he had spoken to Charlie and that Charlie is safe and they know where he is. Charlie’s agent also informed us that it was a personal matter, that the family was currently dealing with and that Charlie is fine.

Charlie Haas faded from wrestling for a few years following his divorce from Tough Enough co-winner Jackie Gayda who he shares four children. And he would candidly admit in an interview with The Hannibal TV that he’d gone through a rough patch during this time. However, he has since been rebuilding both his career and life by wrestling for Impact Wrestling and marrying for a second time. So hopefully, the family issue he is dealing with isn’t too serious, and the concern he caused All-Star Wrestling Australia doesn’t see him miss out on bookings from now on.
