Two months ago, rumors started to spread that Bryan Danielson was injured after he missed a meet and greet due to being unable to travel, with its layer speculated he suffered a concussion during the Anarchy in the Arena match at May’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view. This would result in him missing Forbidden Door, which was a massive blow to AEW. Now though, during San Diego Comic-Con, Danielson would announce he was cleared to wrestle on Saturday morning and that he will be wrestling Daniel Garcia on this Wednesday’s Dynamite.
While any wrestler suffering a concussion is serious, with Danilson having had his WWE career hindered due to concussion issues, this was a scary situation. Nevertheless, time away from the ring has allowed the former WWE star time to recover, and he now looks set to work with Chris Jericho in a prominent feud over the coming months.
