CM Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series and has subsequently appeared for all three of the promotions brands, although he is yet to wrestle again for the company. However, that is set to change during WWE’s upcoming Live Holiday Tour, as the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, has announced he will be wrestling Dominik Mysterio on Saturday, December 30. Whether this will be his first match back with WWE has yet to be determined, but it is the first announced.
45-year-old Punk’s last WWE match took place back in January 2014 when he participated in the Royal Rumble match and was eliminated by Kane. Subsequently, he would walk out on the company, citing injuries and burnout, resulting in him ultimately being fired on his wedding day. Following that, he vowed never to return, although evidently, time and a massive paycheck can alter someone’s views.
