Yet, it has now been reported by Wrestlenomics that based on estimated AEWShop.com merchandise figures, after AEW as a brand, Swerve Strickland topped the rankings for December.
33-year-old Strickland signed with AEW in 2022 after he was surprisingly released by WWE the prior year. However, after realizing they’d made a mistake, WWE would allegedly attempt to get him to break his contract with Tony Khan’s promotion. Still, Strickland proved his loyalty by making AEW management aware and has subsequently been rewarded with a solid push, which has seen him grab fans’ attention and clearly their wallets.
