WWE has long collaborated with hard rock and heavy metal artists using their songs as theme music for several marquee events. The Royal Rumble has had quite a few notable rockers lend their music for the occasion including Alter Bridge, Airborne, Puddle of Mudd, Danko Jones and Godsmack, to name just a few.
Rock legends Linkin Park can now add their name to that list as Triple H announced on Sunday: “The Road to #WrestleMania starts in less than a week…and @linkinparkbrings the soundtrack. ‘Heavy Is The Crown’ by Linkin Park is an Official Theme Song of #RoyalRumble.”
The song comes from the band’s most recent album, “From Zero,” and previously served as the anthem for Riot Games’ 2024 League of Legends World Championship. The song was also nominated for “Rock Song of the Year” by the iHeartRadio Music Awards. WWE previously used Linkin Park’s “Up From the Bottom” in promotional highlights for the 2025 edition of Summerslam.
