Triple H Acknowledges Bronson Reed’s Injury Status Following WarGames Cage Dive

Under Triple H’s creative direction, Bronson Reed has gone from the midcard to the main event and genuinely looks like a future world champion. However, whatever plans WWE has for the Australian appear to be on hold, as during the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, Reed suffered an injury when attempting to hit a Tsunami off the top of the cage onto Roman Reigns and ended up landing on his ankles.

And while the full extent of the 36-year-old’s injury still remains publicly unknown, Triple H would acknowledge him having been hurt by telling those at the post-show press conference, “he’s gonna be questionable for a few weeks.”

“For the most part, our talent came away fairly unscathed. We had a few minor things. Bronson Reed is in the other room getting looked at right now. He’s gonna be questionable for a few weeks, I think, after that splash off the top of the cage.”

Reed, real name Jermaine Haley, spent 11 years on the Australian independent circuit, and while he also wrestled for NOAH in Japan, his true big break came when he signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2019. From there, he would be presented as a future star and held the NXT North American Championship at one time.

Yet just as it appeared he was set to join the main roster, he would be released during budget cuts, with it speculated Vince McMahon wasn’t impressed having watched him perform in person. Still following a brief run in New Japan, Triple H would use his newly established hiring power to bring him back.
