During a recent episode of the Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki Garcia mentioned she came close to contacting Tony Khan about joining AEW after seeing Mercedes Moné’s debut. And now, during an interview with the Battleground Podcast, Khan has confirmed the door is open for her to join AEW, noting that because Brie’s husband Bryan Danielson is already All Elite, both twins are “part of the family.”
“If Nikki Garcia ever wanted to come into AEW, I would be very interested in that. I think the world of her, I have so much respect for Nicole and Brie. They’re like family to us because Bryan is like a part of my family, and that means Bri and Nicole are part of the family. So I have so much respect for both of them, and if Nikki was interested in coming to AEW, we would love to have her here any time. That was so great to hear. It means the world, and I just like both of them so much. I think they’re really, really cool.”

Therefore, it was disappointing but unsurprising that WWE failed to mention Nikki by name when promoting her show Barmageddon during Raw. However, that snub may have ultimately seen them lose out on the return of one of their homegrown stars, with it now appearing that if she chooses to wrestle again, it will be with AEW.
