Toni Storm Makes AEW Debut (w/Video)

On this week’s episode of Dynamite, The Bunny was set to face a mystery opponent in a qualifying match for the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament. The name most fans suspected was former SmackDown wrestler Toni Storm, as her WWE non-compete had recently expired, and this was correct. Storm would win the surprisingly competitive match and is now set to continue in the tournament set up to honor the much-loved and missed Canadian wrestler.

Afterward, AEW would announce Storm had signed with the company on social media, making her the latest ex-WWE talent to become All Elite. For those unaware, Storm walked out on WWE in December after choosing to fly home rather than fulfill her next booking due to burnout. Subsequently, she would be fired and had exited the spotlight.

However, a few weeks ago, she made headlines after opening an account on an adult content website, reportedly earning $10,000 in the first two hours with fans clamoring to subscribe. Despite this substantial money-making opportunity, she is still clearly a full-time wrestler and has the potential to be a massive star in AEW.
