Tommy Dreamer Has Amusing Response To Report He’s New Head Of TNA Creative

During the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Tommy Dreamer had been made head of creative for TNA following Scott D’Amore’s shock firing. However, while speaking on Busted Open, Dreamer himself would refute this, confirming he remains part of a creative team alongside both Robert Evans and Delirious. He would then go on to amusingly say that if he did have sole control, he would be booking himself over the current TNA World Champion Moose, adding a “brother” for good measure.

“Everything is staying intact of how it was before with myself, Robert Evans, and Delirious. There are no changes. Purposely made sure that was a thing. Whoever reported about stuff in my life, thank you, but as someone who has been doing the same stuff the entire time I’ve been there, nothing has changed. Thanks for the promotion. I hope I get a raise. If I was head of creative, Moose is losing the title to me at the next show. Book myself on top, brother.”

Tommy Dreamer

While best known by most fans for his pro wrestling career, 53-year-old Dreamer has been involved in booking dating all the way back to 2000, when he helped book ECW. Additionally, he was the head booker of OVW for a time, although ratings did drop off during this time. Still, as part of a team, he brings a great deal of experience, and given that he learned from Paul Heyman, he is likely considered a great asset by TNA’s new management.
