The Young Bucks returned to AEW along with Kenny Omega at Full Gear following a two-month suspension. And while some of their fans fretted about what type of reception they’d receive in New Jersey, they needn’t have worried as they were welcome back like returning heroes. In fact, fans in attendance would loudly chant “F*ck CM Punk,” which wasn’t unnoticed by The Bucks as they’d mention it during the latest Being The Elite. However, with Dynamite and Rampage set for Punk’s hometown of Chicago this week, the brothers would update their Twitter to say “Chicago. This’ll be interesting.“
While the general consensus is that Punk was primarily responsible for what went down following the All Out media scrum between himself, in Chicago, he is considered a superstar. Producing a crowd response, most wrestlers could only dream of. Therefore The Bucks and Omega should likely prepare for a very hostile reaction and, at least for the night, expect to work as heels when they face Pac and The Lucha Brothers.
