On Saturday, The Independent reported that 41-year-old Shawn Chan of Ontario, Canada, had been arrested earlier in the month after attending Liv Morgan’s Florida home uninvited. According to the report, the obsessed fan loitered outside her home for two hours and even attempted to open the front door, and appeared to look under a doormat for a spare key.
Yet while he would end up leaving of his own accord, he left a handwritten note that made it clear he had been there in person, which resulted in a review of Morgan’s security camera. And now, Going Ringside has covered this worrying situation on their YouTube channel and revealed the disturbing contents of Chan’s note, which suggests he believes he’s been interacting with the WWE star online.
I never said or did anything bad for over 10 years, yet you all dared hating on me for no reason. I came here to pay just a friendly visit — nothing more — yet I’m the one who looks like a stalker thanks to all of you. And you all think I’m going to have empathy, sympathy, and care about any of you anymore? I will start talking and doing whatever I want despite all your shush-finger faces that you all make. Yeah, I just wanted to let you know that I was here.”Shawn Chan
After invading Morgan’s privacy, Chan was thankfully arrested at the WWE Performance Center a few days later, where Morgan was in attendance. This has led to him being held at the Pasco County Detention Center, and due to this being considered a federal issue, because he traveled internationally, he now potentially faces five years in an US prison.
