Original Styx singer Dennis DeYoung has one of the most distinct voices in rock and roll, and it sounds amazing on his new studio album, “26 East,” named for the address of this parents’ home in Illinois where he got his musical start! Dennis talks about forming Styx, writing and singing on 7 of the band’s 8 Top 10 singles, opening for KISS, his friendship with Gene Simmons, the story of “Mr. Roboto,” and the real reason why he’s no longer in Styx and why fans will never see a reunion of the original lineup. He also does a killer chorus of Fozzy’s “Judas” acapella to start the show!
