W.A.S.P. is in the middle of the “Album One Alive World Tour ‘24,” performing their 1984 self-titled debut, and explains what inspired him to put the tour together, what surprised him most about the songs and performances, how he came up with their killer meet & greet experience and museum, and why “Tormentor” is currently his fav song in the set. Blackie also discusses the band’s early days, writing their first album, what it took to land their historic first record deal finally, and why they were so successful right out of the gate. He has stories about visiting the band’s warehouse of memorabilia, the construction of his infamous Elvis mic, and the many movie roles he turned down, including Terminator 2 with Arnold Schwarzenegger and 48 Hours with Eddie Murphy.
