Tag Team Undergo Name Changes On AEW’s Official Roster Page

A few weeks ago, The Young Bucks returned to AEW television, setting the seeds for them to be Sting’s (teaming with Darby Allin) final opponents at Revolution in March. Since then, they have adopted a corporate gimmick, acknowledging their roles as executive vice presidents on-screen and calling AEW “their company.” And now, to play into this further, AEW’s official roster page has updated their names to Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson rather than Matt and Nick.

When news first broke that The Young Bucks would be Sting’s final opponents, many on social media speculated that Tony Khan had forced the brothers on him, saying they weren’t suitable for a match with the WCW legend. However, it later came out that Sting actually chose the duo himself after loving the last time he got to work with them.
