SmackDown last week did huge numbers due to The Rock making a surprise appearance, and while it’s going to be challenging to maintain that momentum, WWE appears hell-bent on trying. As in addition to John Cena wrestling his first televised match since WrestleMania 39, Becky Lynch has confirmed via Twitter/X that she is also set for the show.
Lynch has already wrestled on Raw against Natalya and on NXT in a tag match alongside Lyra Valkyria against Kiana James and Tiffany Stratton this week. So if she competes tonight, she’ll have competed on all three of WWE’s brands in a week. However, as of writing, it isn’t confirmed she will be wrestling, and she may simply be appearing to continue promoting her run on NXT, where she is the current NXT Women’s Champion.
