Last week the unfortunate news was broken by TMZ that Tammy Sytch, best known to wrestling fans Sunny, had been arrested. At the time, not much was known about the details except she was in possession of a weapon and made a terroristic threat. Later, it would be disclosed that what actually occurred was that she attempted to attack her boyfriend with a pair of scissors while a police offer was present. The officer would also say he believed she was intoxicated at the time.
Now though, the WWE Hall of Famer has taken to Facebook to speak to her fans directly. She would state that she is doing okay, keeping a low profile, and asked that media reports are not believed. Seemingly claiming that TMZ is mistaken with the facts they’ve reported.
In recent years, Sunny’s life has been troubled with legal issues, and she was incarcerated for the majority of 2019. After her release, she would subsequently be arrested again on July 13, 2020, while still on parole and charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license, eluding a police officer, and violating her restraining order. This resulted in her being detained again until June 9, 2021.
