Even though they aren’t regular tag team partners, Braun Strowman and WWE Universal champion Seth Rollins are the new Raw Tag Team champions.
Strowman was in action earlier on RAW, when he defeated AJ Styles by disqualification when Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson came out to interfere. Seth Rollins would come out for the save.
Later in the show backstage, Rollins asked Strowman if he wanted to team up to face the O.C. (Gallows and Anderson) for their RAW tag team championships. Braun accepted to set up the main event of the evening.
After some back and forth between the teams, whilst Rollins prevented AJ Styles from getting involved, Strowman eventually got the pin on Anderson to win the titles. You can watch the finish to the match below.
After the match, both men stood atop the ramp holding their tag team titles. However, potentially foreshadowing a a future story-line, Rollins noticed Strowman staring at his Universal Championship as the show came to a close.
