Stevie Richards Reveals How Ric Flair Humiliated Him In Front Of Other Wrestlers

While Ric Flair is perhaps the greatest pro wrestler ever, unfortunately, his reputation has been tarnished over the years due to accusations regarding his behavior outside the ring. And now, in an example of Flair not living up to his legendary status, Stevie Richards has revealed on his YouTube channel that while they were both in TNA together, Flair humiliated him by calling him a “jobber” and a “loser” without a reason in front of the boys and Dixie Carter.

“AJ Styles and I had just come back from eating, and we were about to head up to our rooms. Ric was at the bar with Dixie Carter and a whole group, including Kazarian and Bobby Roode. As we’re walking by, Ric yells out, ‘Hey, AJ, ditch that jobber and come hang out with the big stars.’ He said it more than once, loud enough for everyone in the bar to hear.

AJ looked at me, clearly uncomfortable, but Ric kept going, calling me a loser and saying, ‘We’re the stars, not him.’ The whole bar, including Dixie, laughed, and no one stopped him. I felt so humiliated and angry, like the smallest person in the room … The next day, Ric acted like nothing had happened.”

75-year-old Flair has been out of the spotlight since quietly departing AEW earlier this year, having been signed to be part of Sting’s retirement run. However, he has still made headlines, as in addition to getting into an online feud with a restaurant after they kicked him out, he also separated from his wife, Wendy Barlow, better known as Fifi, in the business. And while this type of news is disappointing to hear, it appears to be par for the course of being one of his fans nowadays.
