Statue Of Rammstein Singer Stolen Almost Immediately

Rammstein singer Till Lindemann turned 60 on Wednesday, and to celebrate the occasion, artist Roxxy erected a statue of the legendary frontman in the city of Rostock in Germany.

According the German news outlet NDR, less than 24 hours after the statue was put up, someone stole it.

“Early happy birthday, Till Lindemann. I made you a statue,” wrote Roxxy in her Instagram post about the statue on Jan. 3.

“Till Lindeman was born 04.01.1963 in Leipzig and grew up to become the biggest Rockstar of germany as the singer of famous Rammstein. The statue is located in Rostock, Evershagen in front of the house where Till lived in his youth.”

NDR is asking anyone with information on the theft to reach out to Rostock police.

Rammstein released a new video/single, “Adieu,” late last year. The song comes from their 2022 album, “Zeit,” which came out in April. That was followed by a world tour.

One of the most revered metal groups of all time, Rammstein is renowned for its electrifying live shows often involving spectacular pyrotechnics. The band has also sold more than 20 million albums worldwide.
