WWE likes to go above and beyond for WrestleMania, and this year it appears like they have something special in store for Edge’s entrance. That is because PWInsiderElite.com is reporting behind their paywall that Gangrel is being brought in for the show and will likely be alongside Edge for his entrance and possibly there to watch his back against Judgment Day.
While Gangrel has been out of the wrestling spotlight for much of the past two decades, the Attitude Era star is still clearly a memorable character and revealed on his podcast that he was set to make an AEW appearance 18 months ago. Still, it was canceled after Edge gave Seth Rollins a “Brood Bath” on SmackDown. AEW didn’t want to appear as though they were copying WWE at the time; however, they would still pay Gangrel his full booking fee as a mark of respect. Nevertheless, ten months ago, he made his Rampage debut alongside The Young Bucks as part of an amusing parody of the Hardys with whom he was aligned during the Attitude Era.
