Life is good for Sonya Deville at the moment, having made her return to the ring last month following almost exactly a year on the sidelines through injury. And to demonstrate her happiness, her wife Toni Cassano has shared a romantic photograph of them together on Instagram, to which Deville would reply, “My heart and soul.“
30-year-old Deville, real name Daria Berenato, was the first openly gay female wrestler in WWE history, having come out while competing on Tough Enough in 2015. From there, she began dating Cassano after they had followed each other on Instagram for several years. Yet, while Cassano was in a relationship at the time, the pair would end up exchanging flirting DMs, and after meeting following a WWE event, they ended up dating and would subsequently commit to each other by tying the knot earlier this year.
