Sonya Deville is no longer with WWE, having been told earlier this year that her contract wouldn’t be renewed despite both sides having been negotiating. However, despite this career setback, it appears the opening gay wrestler is still living her best life as she has taken to social media to show her passionately kissing her wife Toni Cassano, which has amassed almost 2 million views on X in less than 48 hours.
31-year-old Deville, real name Daria Berenato, broke into the business via Tough Enough back in 2015, where she finished 11th. Yet despite placing so low, she would still be offered a contract and would hone her skills at the WWE Performance Center. Subsequently, she competed on all three of WWE’s main brands, although at times her career was derailed due to injury and a terrifying issue with a stalker, which would see her take time away from the ring.
