Slayer made their return to the live stage earlier this year for small handful of festival dates. While it’s unclear if more dates are on the horizon, guitarist Kerry King will still be plenty busy on his own on the road in support of his debut solo album, “From Hell I Rise.” The album was released in May and drew fan and critical acclaim.
King answers a fan Q&A in the latest edition of “Metal Hammer,” and he was asked a variety of questions including who he would like to portray him I a movie. King cited action star Vin Diesel to start, but then changed his mind to WWE legend The Rock.
“The only one that loosely fits the description is Vin Diesel,” he said. “If you go down that road you might also say The Rock, but I’m not nearly that giant! That would be awesome, though – I’ll say The Rock, because I like a lot of the stuff he’s in.”
