Following a heavily criticized men’s Royal Rumble match that Shane McMahon produced, news broke that he had effectively been let go by the company. This surprised everyone, as while there have been known issues in the McMahon family in the past, nobody ever seriously thought Vince would ever effectively fire his son. However, it’s now been reported by PWInsider that Shane is scheduled to be in Dallas this weekend for WrestleMania, although it is not known if there are plans for him to appear on camera.
WWE is bringing Shane McMahon in for Wrestlemania 38 this weekend, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources. There is no word at this time whether McMahon will be appearing on the PPV yet but we are told he will be in town for the entire Wrestlemania weekend.
PWInsider.comWith Vince McMahon handpicking an opponent for Seth Rollins, speculation has subsequently commenced that Shane could be that person. Especially since it’s known Shane was at one point set to wrestle Rollins or Bobby Lashley on the show. Although with Cody Rhodes having signed with the company, it is still believed he will be the one to face Rollins. Nevertheless, Shane’s attendance does now cast doubt on that, which may be precisely what WWE wants.
