Seth Rollins Addresses Fan Calling Him A “Fake-A** Champion” At Live Event

On Sunday night Seth Rollins successfully defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida. However, for Seth Rollins, at least the night was somewhat spoiled after a fan in attendance called him a “fake a** champion,” seemingly in reference to Roman Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship reign. Yet, rather than let it go, Rollins would take to the mic to address the so-called fan noting he was sweating buckets, bleeding, and a fighting champion.

“Got one guy over here, that guy. That guy right there called me a fake-a** champion. I’m here in your city, sweating buckets, bleeding my own blood. I’m far from a fake-a** champion. I’m a fighting champion because you guys deserve, you deserve the visionary.”

Rollins became the inaugural WWE World Heavyweight Champion back in May when he defeated AJ Styles at Night Of Champions and had gone on to prove his fighting champion credentials by defending the title well over a dozen times. Of course, how long he will keep the belt remains to be seen, with another match against Balor booked for SummerSlam next Saturday.
