This Sunday is the Super Bowl, which sees the Philadelphia Eagles go up against the Kansas City Chiefs, which sees nearly 100 million people tune in. However, for anyone who isn’t a fan of football, it generally means you watch it for the commercials. And scattered in between your typical advertisements for beer and chicken wings are TV spots and teaser trailers for upcoming movies.
One such teaser that has just been released today is for the upcoming release of Scream VI, starring Jenna Ortega, Courtney Cox, Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and returning survivor Hayden Panettiere. The latest installment in the ongoing franchise has the remaining survivors of Ghostface looking to put Woodsboro behind them, starting fresh in everyone’s favorite urban jungle, New York City. Touting “New York. New Rules’, Scream VI looks to introduce a meaner Ghostface while letting past characters navigate a big city that’ll surely give them a challenge once the blood starts spilling.
The teaser, which you can watch below, pits our survivors up against Ghostface and tenement living, proving that no escape is easy while ratcheting up the tension to new heights. Tickets are now on sale for both 2D and Real 3D showings beginning March 10th.
