Earlier this year, Saraya announced that her time with AEW had ended, with both sides having mutually agreed to end her employment contract early. And now, during the latest episode of her new podcast, she has revealed that during her time being All Elite, she turned down a romantic storyline with Matt Menard, because she was dating Ronnie Radke at the time.
"In AEW, there’s a wrestler called Daddy Magic. They wanted me to do a love storyline with him. I’ve managed to go my whole career without doing a love storyline, and I wasn’t going to start it. They were like, ‘No, all he’s going to do is kiss you.’ I had a boyfriend at the time, and I was just like, ‘I can’t do it, you guys. I just can’t do it,' so I turned it down."[/su_quote]A storyline with Saraya would have been big for Menard, as while he is a familiar face to AEW fans, he hasn't been strongly pushed except for his time in the Jericho Appreciation Society. Still, thanks to being an excellent talker, he has established himself as more than capable of providing color commentary and appears to have a full-time career behind the announce desk in AEW if he wants it.
