Ryback has been sidelined for five years through injury but recently made it known he was available to discuss bookings again. And now has taken to Twitter to reveal he will soon be medically cleared and wants a match with WCW legend Goldberg. Of course, whether Goldberg is interested in working a retirement match with Ryback remains to be seen, but it certainly would be an intriguing encounter.
Ryback, also known as “The Big Guy,” looked set for wrestling superstardom a decade ago when he first feuded with CM Punk and appeared as likely as anyone to become a future WWE Champion. However, his push would soon subside, and an ill-fitting association with Paul Heyman saw him lose relevancy at the top of the card. Now though he appears set for a comeback, and while the heights he once achieved may be beyond him, the 41-year-old clearly still has lofty goals.
