Rumor Killer On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Roster Status

Following troubling allegations made about him in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis, the company quickly began distancing itself from Brock Lesnar. However, on Saturday, various sources reported that Lesnar had been re-added to WWE.com’s Superstars page, with screenshots shared across social media to verify this. Yet, it now appears news of the former UFC star’s return has been premature, as a search of the Wayback Machine actually reveals he was never removed in the first place.

It’s understood that 46-year-old Lesnar was meant to be a participant in the men’s Royal Rumble match this past January, but following the problematic claims made, he was pulled, and Bron Breakker would take his spot. Since then, WWE and 2K have gone as far as to make Lesnar unplayable in their latest video game, and some speculate his time in the business could very well be over, which, if accurate, would mean his final match was against Cody Rhodes at last year’s SummerSlam.
