Ronda Rousey stunned the wrestling world when she made her Ring of Honor debut two weeks ago. At the time, fans began speculating about potential matches she could have in the company and also their sister promotion, AEW. However, it was later established it was simply a one-off appearance, done as a favor for her close friend Marina Shafir, who teamed with her on the night. And now, having been asked by TMZ, the former UFC star has confirmed she doesn’t intend to return, noting her focus is being a full-time mother.
“No, no, I don’t think so, just trying to be home with the family, and be a full-time mom.”
Ronda Rousey36-year-old Rousey’s pro wrestling career officially began when she signed with WWE in 2017. Her in-ring debut would occur at WrestleMania 34 when she teamed with Kurt Angle against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in a highly praised match. Then, at the following year’s event, she made history by being one of the first women, along with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, to headline a WrestleMania. Subsequently, she would take a break from the ring, becoming a mother while gone, before returning at the 2022 Royal Rumble for her second, far less successful run with the company.
