WWE dropped a promo for Wrestlemania 42 earlier this week. The video features Triple H, Paul Heyman, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar playing poker to coincide with the event’s Las Vegas setting. Wrestlemania will take place over two days on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium.
“They say in Vegas, everyone has a tell — a blink, a tell, a breath, a moment that can’t be controlled,” Triple H says in the video. “But the great ones, they use it to their advantage. They own it. They’ve got them right where they want them. The rest just haven’t figured it out yet.”
The clip closes with the familiar tones of rock legends Aerosmith and their 1976 classic “Back in the Saddle.” The song was the first track on the band’s studio album “Rocks.” Aerosmith previously provided music to WWE in 2009 when they covered Mississippi Fred McDowell’s “You Gotta Move” for SummerSlam.
Aerosmith had to cancel their “Peace Out” farewell tour due to singer Steven Tyler’s vocal injury. However, the band recently collaborated with British singer Yungblud on a 5-song EP that will be released on November 21, and there have been hints that the group will return to the live stage in some capacity soon.
