In heartbreaking news, KISS co-founder Ace Frehley, also known as The Spaceman, may not be with us for much longer. Apparently, Frehley’s recent fall, which forced the cancellation of upcoming tour dates, was worse than most were aware, as he has been on a ventilator since then, with TMZ reporting his family now faces having to make the harrowing decision to turn off his life support.
74-year-old Frehley is best known as the original lead guitarist of KISS, co-founding the band in 1973. The beloved musician would go on to leave the band in 1982, pursuing a solo career. Still, he rejoined KISS for a reunion tour from 1996 to 2002 which was huge due to it reuniting the original members of the band for the first time since drummer Peter Criss’ departure in 1980.
