RAINN Advocate Mick Foley Comments On The Allegations Made Against Vince McMahon

Mick Foley made his name in WCW and ECW but became a legend in the business thanks to his time in WWE working for Vince McMahon. And now Foley, who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, has commented on the horrendous allegations made by Janel Grant in her lawsuit against the disgraced billionaire. In a video shared on YouTube, the RAINN advocate and WWE legend would say he “felt dead inside” and likened it to his feelings following the Chris Benoit tragedy.

“I don’t know all the facts, but man, it’s really ugly. I feel very similar, just like that ‘dead inside feeling’ the way I had in 2007 after the Benoit murders and man, I hope it doesn’t take away from people’s amazing memories of all the things that Mr. McMahon created or helped create including my character and the programs that I was in and was such a big part of it.”

58-year-old Foley made his WWE debut in 1986, working as an enhancement talent under the name Jack Foley, before pursuing his career elsewhere. Still, he returned to WWE as a contracted talent in 1996, thanks to Jim Ross being a supporter, despite McMahon being skeptical of his abilities. However, Foley’s WWE career would far exceed everyone’s expectations, and while his relationship with McMahon has had ups and downs, the pair made a lot of money together and had incredible onscreen chemistry.
