People.com Posts Details Relating To Tough Enough Star Sara Lee’s Cause Of Death

Six months ago, the pro wrestling world was stunned when Sara Lee’s mother-in-law shared the sad news that the Tough Enough winner had passed away. Yet making the situation even more tragic, the 30-year-old was a mother to three young children. And now, People.com has posted some further details relating to her death, claiming an insider has told her she was heavily drinking on the night of her death.

The insider says Lee “was heavily drinking [the night she died]” and was later found by her husband Cory James Weston (who goes by the ring name Westin Blake). “He [Westin] had just come back from working in Orlando. He took the kids somewhere and came back and found her. It was sudden.” The source adds, “It wasn’t intentional and it was accidental.”

Sara Lee won the sixth season of WWE’s Tough Enough in 2015. Yet, her time with the company wasn’t very long, with her only wrestling seven times on NXT house shows before being let go. Nevertheless, she had recently been spotted at both the Team Vision Dojo and Flatbacks wrestling schools training for a potential comeback. Seemingly indicating she’d been in good health prior to her unforeseen death.
