In June 2007, during WWE’s “Mr. McMahon Appreciation Night” on Raw, WWE’s then head honcho staged his own “death” in a dramatic limousine explosion angle. However, as a dejected McMahon walked past the lined-up superstars, Paul London broke character with a goofy smile, which legitimately got him heat with his boss. And now, while speaking with Chris Van Vliet, London has discussed this, saying, “It’s cute how sensitive millionaires are.“
45-year-old London began his career in 2000 after training at Shawn Michaels’ Texas Wrestling Academy. He would go on to gain prominence in Ring of Honor with his high-flying style and soon join WWE in 2003, where he memorably teamed with Brian Kendrick, capturing the WWE Tag Team Championship twice. And while he was released in 2008, he would go on to work for PWG, Lucha Underground, and MLW, where he currently performs as a wrestler and road agent.
