The wrestling world was distressed on Tuesday when it learned that 73-year-old Jerry Lawler had been hospitalized. Initially, details were scarce, but it soon became known he had suffered a stroke and had undergone surgery. And now, following the countless rumors and much speculation, an official update has been provided via his Twitter account showing him alongside Jimmy Hart. With it confirming that his speech is limited, but with rehabilitation, he should make a full recovery, which is fantastic news for fans of the WWE Hall of Famer.
Our thought remains with Lawler at this challenging time, and while his first stroke in 2018 wasn’t enough to get him to change his lifestyle, hopefully, his second will have been. As wrestling fans are not ready to mourn another wrestling legend.
