Nikki Sixx Shares Update On Status Of Motley Crue Vegas Residency

Motley Crue was forced to postpone a Las Vegas residency earlier this year due to undisclosed health issues concerning singer Vince Neil. The frontman has since returned to the live stage, however, for a few solo shows.

“ Hey, thank you, everybody. It’s good to be here,” Neil said from the stage at his first show in nearly 10 months back in early August. He then seemingly addressed his critics and/or doctors saying, “I haven’t been on stage since almost a year now. I had a medical thing that happened to me, and they said I wouldn’t be back on stage again. I said, ‘F*ck that, man.’ And I’m back and I’m with you guys tonight. And I’m really proud to be here, man.”

Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx frequently does “AskSixx” question and answer sessions via his X account, and on Sunday several fans asked him about the status of the band’s upcoming Vegas concerts which are set to begin September 12. One fan asked, “Will Vegas residency definitely go ahead?” Sixx replied, “Unless earth gets hit by a meteor.” Another fan posted, “Is the residency still on schedule? Rumors circulating of another reschedule.” Sixx quoted the question with the response “Clickbait.”
