Saturday night’s Survivor Series featured two highly anticipated WarGames matches, with the gimmick cage matches having become an annual tradition in WWE under Triple H. Yet, while the men’s version has subsequently been very highly praised by those who watched, the women’s was poorly received by fans online.
And now, having received plenty of backlash for her performance, with one fan even comparing her to a trash can, Nia Jax has addressed the criticism on X. However, rather than being defensive, she would first acknowledge her sacrifices and then appear to see the funny side in being able to cause so much social media unrest, saying, “I love the emotions I evoke from you all.”
Last year, 40-year-old Jax disclosed during an interview that she actually attended therapy due to the amount of hate she previously received online, admitting it “really messed me up.” Still, thanks to obtaining professional help, she would come to accept that the vitriol was aimed at the Nia Jax character and not Savelina Fanene personally. Additionally, she would add, “I don’t think anybody who’s a happy person goes online and sh*ts on other people,” which is hard to disagree with.
