With the March 10th release of Scream VI lurking right around the corner, fans have been receiving a buffet of tasty treats. From last week’s teaser trailer all the way to a poster reveal that’s overflowing with Easter Eggs – designed by artist Doaly to promote the March 9th fan event – those who are unable to satiate their craving for Ghostface have certainly had their fill. And now, courtesy of the fine folks at Blood Disgusting, horror fans are waking up to thirteen brand new official character posters, each one up close and personal with the film’s victims and/or killer(s). Yes, thirteen!
There’s veteran Courtney Cox and reemerging favorite Hayden Panettiere, as well as returning survivors Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, and Jasmin Savoy Brown. To mix things up, though, Paramount and Spyglass, the two production companies behind last year’s Scream and the latest installment have given fans a much closer look at some new potential suspects with Samara Weaving (Ready or Not), Josh Segarra (She-Hulk) and Tony Revolori (Grand Budapest Hotel).
While each character is wearing black gloves and wielding a knife, leading fans to pick over potential clues as to who the prime suspect is, from a quick glance, there doesn’t seem to be too much that’s incriminating. Fans will just have to wait a little under a month to find out who’s donning the iconic mask.
