After Wednesday night’s Rampage taping, it was reported that Jade Cargill was departing AEW, and while not known for certain, most presumed she was headed to WWE. And now, confirming that to be the case, PWInsider.com has reported she is scheduled to be at the WWE Performance Center next week, with her AEW contract having expired.
“In an update on Jade Cargill, her AEW contract is believed to have expired. WWE sources have confirmed to PWInsider.com that Cargill is slated to be at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando this coming week.”
PWInsider.com31-year-old Cargill’s pro wrestling career began via a WWE tryout; however, the former basketball player would actually turn the company down at the time. Instead, she would focus on learning the business on her own terms and trained at both AR Fox’s and Heath Slater’s wrestling schools. Eventually, she would find her way to the Nightmare Factory, where QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes coached her before she debuted for AEW in 2021.
