Last week, it was reported that OVW Women’s Champion Hollyhood Haley J, who recently found fame on the Netflix series “Wrestlers,” had been invited to try out at the WWE Performance Center. However, according to Fightful Select, it turns out that she was pulled at the last minute due to undisclosed issues with her medical paperwork. It was though noted the opportunity may remain open in the future.
“We’re told that Hollyhood Haley J was pulled from the WWE tryouts due to reasons related to medical paperwork, per WWE and OVW sources. However, we’re told that WWE is hopeful that they can get her in the future.”
Fightful SelectHaley J is the daughter of a fellow independent pro wrestler, Amazing Maria. She broke into the business in 2020, where she regularly worked for IWA-Mid-South and Ohio Valley Wrestling. And while inexperienced in terms of years in the industry, she has over 180 matches on her record, including ones for both WOW and AEW.
