Nash Carter’s WWE Release Wasn’t Because Of Abuse Allegations

This past week, the big story on social media has been the persistent abuse allegations made by Kimber Lee against her husband, Nash Carter. And while it was a terrible situation being played out in public, things went up a level after Carter began divorce proceedings. This is because Kimber opted to tweet out a private photo of her estranged husband imitating Adolf Hitler.

Ultimately, all of this has led to the 27-year-old’s WWE release despite him currently being one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions. However, according to Dave Meltzer on his Wrestling Observer Radio show, the abuse allegations didn’t actually play a part in his release.

This is a really weird situation because he was fired for the Hitler picture. The other allegations is not what he was fired for.

You have to understand Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon had allegations against him multiple times over the years. So, if he is to believe that Carter is innocent, then he has to presume that other people that claims are made may be innocent. So he’s not a guy who is gonna fire everybody the minute somebody says something.

Nash has yet to offer up any sort of explanation for the photo, which is believed to be several years old. However, given how offensive the gesture is, it’s unlikely any reason will be adequate. What this now means for his wrestling career remains to be seen. But, given his NXT contract has a 30-day non-compete clause, he won’t be able to begin the next stage of his career until next month if he can find a promotion willing to book him.
