Mike Santana Quickly Deletes Cryptic Post On X

After recovering from a long-term injury that kept him out of the ring for over a year, Mike Santana is now a singles competitor in AEW, having split from Ortiz. Initially, it was thought Santana could potentially become a featured performer, but so far, he has only competed for the promotion a handful of times in recent months. And now he has cryptically taken to social media platform X to simply post “6 weeks” before promptly deleting it. The significance of this remains uncertain, but it’s speculated online that he was venting his frustration, having not wrestled for AEW during that time period.

Santana is still best known to wrestling fans for his Proud & Powerful, LAX, and EYFBO tag team time alongside Ortiz, which was formed in 2012. The duo would receive their big break when signing for Impact Wrestling in 2017. Nevertheless, when their contacts expired in 2019, they opted to test out free agency, and despite being wanted by WWE for their NXT brand, they opted to sign for AEW, where they became part of Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle stable. However, the duo would end up falling out in real life for undisclosed personal reasons and have since gone their own separate ways.
