Mick Foley Provides Positive Update On Terry Funk Following Dementia Diagnosis

Last year former WWE Intercontinental Champion Don Muraco disclosed on his podcast that Terry Funk was in an assisted living facility suffering from dementia. This produced an outpouring of support for the legendary wrestler who means so much to so many fans and wrestlers who he entertained and inspired over the decades. However, Mick Foley, a long-time friend of Funk, has commented during a virtual autograph signing that he saw Funk recently, and the reports made it sound worse than it is, with Funk actually doing good.

It doesn’t seem long ago that Funk was hitting moonsaults in ECW, WWE, and WCW in his mid-50s. Still, he is almost 78 years old now and is sadly widowed following the passing of his wife of 54 years, Vicki, back in 2019. Thankfully though, Funk still has people who love him and look out for him, and hopefully, he can enjoy his golden years the best as possible.
