On Friday, news broke that WWE had released Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox, while Baron Corbin wasn’t having his contract renewed. Yet, while most fans on social media would be respectful, a handful would begin speculating about future departures and even making suggestions. And now, after one fan said Michin, also known as Mia Yim, would be next to be let go, she would quote tweet them as an example to others.
35-year-old Michin began wrestling in 2009 and gained experience on the independent circuit and as part of TNA. From there, she would grab WWE’s attention as an entrant in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, subsequently earning a contract. Yet, while her first opportunity on the main roster would flop due to being put in the awful Retribution stable and then released, she wouldn’t give up on her dream and would end up being rehired and now performs on SmackDown.
