Matt Riddle Claims TNA Still Hasn’t Paid Him For His Match At Turning Point

Due to a car accident, Trey Miguel was unable to get to the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem for TNA’s Turning Point event back in November. Therefore, the promotion needed a last-minute replacement to team with KUSHIDA and Zachary Wentz against Ace Austin and The Hardys. This would, thus, open the door for former WWE star Matt Riddle to make his TNA debut. However, during an interview with SHAK Wrestling, Riddle revealed that his payment for this match from TNA is overdue.

“I got an extra payday, which didn’t hurt the weekend. I’m still waiting on that. They have a three-week thing or two-week thing, I don’t know. I kind of like my money upfront.”

After being released by WWE in 2023, 38-year-old Riddle has been rebuilding his pro wrestling career, working regularly all over the globe. This has seen him wrestle for AAA, New Japan, MLW, and even Juggalo Championship Wrestling. Still, this is a big dropoff from working for WWE, and Riddle likely hopes he gets a chance to return to the company that made him a star, but to do that, he needs to prove his issues are in the past.
