Last year Jeff Hardy was arrested for DUI, with a breathalyzer test uncovering him to be 3.7 times the legal limit. Now though court documents have confirmed his case has been closed, with him avoiding jail and instead having his license suspended for ten years and a $4585 fine. And subsequently, his brother Matt has taken to Twitter to share how proud he is of his brother for turning his life around over the past nine months.
With his legal troubles behind him and having successfully completed rehab, the big question is when Hardy will return in an AEW ring. However, it isn’t a foregone conclusion that Jeff will even choose to resume his career, as Matt has stated in a past interview that Jeff’s future may be away from the business. Hopefully, whatever Jeff decides to do will make him happy, as he has given so much to the industry over almost 30 years.
