Matt Cardona Responds To Toy Store That’s Selling T-Shirt Mocking Him

Matt Cardona recently revealed he is making more money now than when he was during his WWE run, and a big part of that is coming from headlining indie shows all over the country. However, while it’s well-known his calendar is fully booked for most weekends, it appears he may have had a day off this weekend, as he canceled his wrestling match in Tulsa after a toy store associated with the event began advertising him at signing, which he hadn’t agreed to. With Cardona himself commenting on their Facebook page, “I never ever agreed to do this.

Obviously, this is incredibly shady, and apparently, Kevin Nash had issues with the store previously, apparently based on them not booking him a first-class flight. However, rather than accept Cardona’s decision, the Vintage Toy Mall has begun selling a t-shirt design mocking the former WWE star.

Precisely how this situation occurred remains unclear. However, with the Vintage Toy Mall talking about people taking their cut and not having direct communication, a third party may have over-promised and under-delivered regarding what they’d signed Cardona for. Nevertheless, selling the t-shirt is a terrible look, and it may be a struggle for them to attract big-name talents for signings from now on.
