Mark Briscoe Injured & Likely Requires Surgery

Next Friday was to see Mark Briscoe challenge ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli at Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor. Sadly, however, it has been announced by Tony Khan on Twitter that the match is off due to Briscoe not being medically cleared.

Subsequently, Fightful has reported that Briscoe is dealing with a serious knee injury which will likely need surgery at some point. Briscoe’s prior match, which is assumedly where he was injured, took place on June 29th, where he defeated JD Drake and Tony Nese in a three-way.
