Marilyn Manson has faced numerous legal obstacles in recent years. He’s been sued by several women over allegations of misconduct and abuse, had a back-and-forth court battle with a photographer over an alleged spitting incident, and as a result said his “career is in the gutter” and that he’s “receiving death threats to his life,” according to TMZ

Reports of a new Manson album being finished and ready to release surfaced last year, and now it appears that the shock rocker is ready to try and revive his music and image.

On Friday, Five Finger Death Punch announced a headlining U.S. tour set to begin in August with Marilyn Manson and Slaughter To Prevail as support. The tour runs for a little more than six weeks, and a full list of dates can be viewed here.

Previously, Manson posted on Instagram: “Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality. My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how – and why – others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.”

Manson also said his “false portrayal” caused him to lose two acting roles in the Starz series “American Gods” and the Paramount+ series “The Stand.”
